Winter is one of my favorite fashion seasons because of the opportunity to layer (especially in California) and to wear one of my favorite camel coats. I’ve cycled through many winter coats over the years, but lately I’ve been loving this beautiful Camel Coat (kindly gifted) from The Curated – a fashion label started by my dear friend Nicola Harlem. I really admire her for her elegant taste, entrepreneurship, and creation of a slow fashion label that embodies both minimalism and luxury. The Curated’s concept is to carefully source a collection of timeless high quality staples, inspired by sustainable luxury and minimal elegance. This classic camel coat has a timeless design and is made of organic cashmere, through vertical mills that reduce environmental wastage and overproduction.

Here are a few other items I paired together with this outfit:

I’ve also loved pairing this camel coat with the Italic burgundy trunk bag this season. Italic is also another minimalist brand I’ve recently discovered and love for their eye for simple, modern designs. More on that in a future post!
